Incredibly drought and coast tolerant, its elegant silver weeping foliage makes a fine specimen or shade tree. Scented blooms attract bees and pollinators in spring and the small fruit ripening to red in autumn are loved by birds, contributing to its ability to readily self seed. Fruit is edible if very ripe. Elaegnus
